Dr. Brijesh Pandey

Dr. Brijesh Pandey did his graduation from Lucknow Christian Degree College, Lucknow and post graduation from University of Lucknow. He is doctorate in Biochemistry on topic ‘Cloning and characterization of lignin specific gene from Leucaena leucocephala’. In his academic and research career he has supervised 2 doctoral candidates, 7 Post graduate and many Undergraduate students for their major project with findings of academic and industrial importance at his previous institution, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. He joined Mahatma Gandhi Central University in 2017 as Associate Professor and served as Proctor from 2017-2020. He is working in the area of plant secondary metabolism with focus on industry and therapeutics.
