The department is active in the Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Bhawan located in the Gandhi Bhavan campus. It has made its significant presence felt by organizing many national and international research seminars. From time to time, poetry recitals, discussions, and special lectures are organized to enrich students’ knowledge. Eminent scholars from different fields are invited to deliver lectures. To develop leadership qualities among students, a "Hindi Sahitya Sabha" has also been formed, which enthusiastically conducts all the events of the department.
