Prof. Asheesh Srivastava is a well-known academician in the field of education. He is an alumnus of University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Since the beginning of his teaching career, he has been extremely popular among students. Prof. Srivastava has served at University of Lucknow and Amity University Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow Campus). In 2010, he was simultaneously appointed at two prestigious universities of India – Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and Visva-Bharati: A Central University & Institution of National Importance, Santiniketan, West Bengal. He chose to serve the Ashram of Nobel Laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Visva-Bharati, where he worked in various capacities for nearly a decade before joining Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar as Professor of Education. Prof. Srivastava has vast and rich experience of travelling and delivering lectures in many prestigious universities/institutions of education across India. He has numerous presentations and publications to his credit, and his main area of interest is "Educational Policies & Programmes". Prof. Srivastava is the Founder Dean of the School of Education at Mahatma Gandhi Central University.
