Prof. Asheesh Srivastava is a well-known academician in the field of education, he is an alumnus of University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh & Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A very popular figure among his students since the beginning of his career as a teacher, Prof. Srivastava has served under University of Lucknow, Amity University Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow Campus) before getting appointment simultaneously in prestigious universities of India viz. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh & Visva-Bharati: A Central University & An Institution of National Importance, Santiniketan, West Bengal in 2010. Prof. Srivastava chose to serve the Ashram of Nobel Laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore i.e. Visva-Bharati and served it, in different capacities for almost a decade before joining Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar as Professor of Education. Prof. Srivastava has vast & rich experience of traveling and delivering lectures to different prestigious Universities/Institutions of education of different strata across India. Prof. Srivastava is having plenty of presentations and publications to his credit and his area of interest is ‘Educational Policies & Programmes’. Prof. Srivastava is a Founder Head of Department of Educational Studies, School of Education, Mahatma Gandhi Central University.
