Universal Human Values (UHV)

Universal Human Values (UHV) refers to a program focused on integrating value-based education, aiming to develop students into responsible, ethical, and socially conscious individuals. The determination of education is to establish the right understanding in the human being so that by a certain age, the individual is able to gain clarity about happiness and the programs to ensure it. Such an education will lay the foundation of an undivided society and universal human order, which will meet the holistic education appetency of all human beings. Universal human values are not a rigid, enforced list but a set of shared moral intuitions that have evolved across human societies. They acknowledge our common humanity and provide the essential framework for building a world where every individual can thrive by:

  • Foundation for human rights: They are the ethical basis for documents like the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • Conflict resolution: They offer a neutral ground for dialogue and reconciliation between conflicting parties.
  • Personal guidance: They serve as a moral compass for individuals, helping to navigate complex ethical dilemmas.
