The UHV program emphasises foundational principles that guide understanding and action. These principles form the basis for teaching, self-exploration, and building a humane social order.

• Harmony at all levels: The study focuses on understanding harmony within the self, in relationships (university, society), and with nature/existence.
• Right understanding: The fundamental goal is to achieve the right understanding – understanding of the human being and the larger order.
• Focus on values: The focus is on discovering innate human values like trust, respect, gratitude, and love through self-discovery.
• Universal and rational: The content is universal, rational, and applicable to everyone, forming a foundation for a humane world vision.
